Offline Hiking Maps & Route Planner
Take the terrain with you
A downloaded region keeps the map and walking route tools available when the signal drops.
Download the region
Install an available map before you go. Read contours and hillshade, find places and see your GPS location without mobile data.
Plan your own walk
Add waypoints on the map and check distance, estimated walking time and the elevation profile. Change your stops using the downloaded routing data.
Follow and record
Follow the saved plan with trail guidance. HikeArc records the track you actually walk separately from the plan.

Your Activity
A hike you can come back to
Keep a completed walk as an Activity. Revisit its track and photos, or start a new editable plan from a recorded track to prepare for another day out.
Sign in to save plans and keep completed hikes in your Activity history.
Common questions
Does HikeArc work without a signal?
Yes. Download the available regions covering your walk while online. The map, GPS position, place search, walking route planning and trail guidance can then work offline in those areas.
Is App Store availability the same as map coverage?
Check Offline Maps in HikeArc for downloadable regions. A store may carry HikeArc while particular walking areas still lack detailed map coverage.
What’s the difference between a Plan and an Activity?
A Plan is where you intend to walk. An Activity preserves where you actually went. You can review a recorded track and turn it into a new, editable plan.
